My love for hairdressing started when I was 14, working as a Saturday Assistant, then later a full apprenticeship at Tony & Guy.
I loved that feeling of seeing guests so happy when they left the salon. You know that feeling when you give someone a gift, and their joy at receiving it becomes your joy? I have that feeling every day. Giving the gift of beautiful hair not only makes my guests delight in their new cut and colour and the level of self-worth and confidence they’ve recovered, but it also reinforces my belief in a profession where artistry, combined with ongoing education, creates beauty and happiness and lays the foundation for empowerment.
I want my salon to be a happy place for guests and colleagues. I want it to be a place of collaboration, a place where we all learn from each other, not only about new techniques and skills in the industry but about each other and what matters to us in our lives as well as in our work. I take a holistic view of life and work balance, not only creating an inspirational workplace for the team but also enabling them to relax and feel comfortable. This can have a positive impact on their overall well-being and job satisfaction. When my team feels supported and balanced, they build a good rapport with guests and provide excellent service. Additionally, by suggesting the best options to our guests, this shows that we value your needs and preferences.
